This is For Geardy Kane , the one and only who died tragically on 27.08.2007 aged 21 years .
leaving behind all those who loved him dearly- his mum,dad,sisters,brother, and little nephew and
not to mention his many heartbroken friends and relatives. For those who know Geardy will know that
he was a superstar in every sense of the word. He had a smile that would light up the room and a
heart so deep that he would do anything for anyone. He left an imprint on everyone's lifes that
he's ever met and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Geardy was
an angel while he was on earth and now he is one in Heaven. May he be happy where he is and continue
partying as he always was. Rest In Peace Geardy.
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind; I'm walking in
your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me

Miss ya big time Geardy. But I know you looking over me. I'll watch out for you down here too.

hey g, as ya knw we are missin ya like crazy still seems unreal that ur not hear not a day goes by wen i dont think bout u, talk to ya, and pray to ya they say it gets easier but thats yet to happen it still hurts as much the day i got that fone call on holiday...... i'm so glad we spent so much time together cuz it just gives me all the more memories to look bk on keep smilin chic and remember mines is a double 4 wen we meet again, watch over us all geardy walk wif us threw life and give us the strenght and courage to handle wat ever life throws at us x x x x hope to see ya in my dreams 2nite x x x x x x x x x RIP x x x x x
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you 'Peace be Thine' and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your friends, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home
sometimes we try to hide it & hope the pain will go away.
sometimes we want the world to just STOP...but it dosen't. the world keeps turning and people carry on as normal. but it's not 'normal' for us anymore...something is missing, someone is missing.
some people don't understand...the only people that truly do are the unfortunate ones who've already been here, done this & moved on. well...some of us haven't moved on yet.
finding others whom totally understand your feelings of grief and realising you are not alone does help.
also having a focus helps the grieving process.
focus on the good times, your memories...smile as your mind takes you back.
when a loss is still very raw you won't be able to recall much coz it's too painful. but it will come...in time.
